This is our initial review of Clip-Share.com’s Clip Share Pro!
First off Clip Share recommends using a website host by the name of Cirtex Hosting. Don’t and I mean do not waste your time at all. One of the worst customer support teams I’ve ever experienced plus there servers are constantly down.

We went through two other host before settling on 1and1, we are using there Linux Valued Server for 69.99 a month. So far good but I have used 1and1 before. There customer support definitely isn’t Godaddy but its ok. There Server Support is almost unwilling to help by any means. Your going to need a solid installer with Plesk experience if your going with 1and1.

We also use Crayon Host but they only offer shared hosting and no telephone support. On the positive side, they are a niche host who handles video sharing sites. They also installed Clip Share for free on our shared hosting for free and they only run 4.99 a month. They’re definitely not as good as a server but they are good.
If you are going with some other host, please remember to ask if all of the Clip Share requirements can be handled by there servers. Also, if they aren’t a niche video sharing host than there shared hosting or semi dedicated servers just are not going to work because you do not have full root access. Essentially you can not modify how the server operates because it would effect other users.

Now Clip Share Pro, I love it but don’t bother buying any services through them. They are impossible to get in touch with, simply go to the support tab and look through the forums in the presales area for installers or post a request. Learn from our mistake if you want to avoid a huge headache.

On Clip Share we did have some small problems with the static pages not being editable but with a little FTP action I can fix that problem. But overall I love this software but I have heard of some SEO “issues”. These issues tend not to be a big deal but the Clip Share needs to clean them up. Overall a ok programmer or web designer could clean them up easily. Just look through the support forums to find any of the SEO “issues”.

Overall we give it a score of 4 out of 5. We took one point out for the SEO “issues” and the not being able to edit the static pages.
